Kinn.pet is operated by Kinn Pet LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. This policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using kinn.pet, you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
Waitlist and account information. When you join the waitlist or create an account, we collect your email address and any profile information you provide.
Pet photos and questionnaire data (Kinn Portrait). If you use Kinn Portrait, you submit photos of your pet and answers to a personality questionnaire. This data is used solely to create your companion and is not shared or sold.
Companion interaction data. Conversations with your AI companion, care actions, and usage patterns are stored to power the companion's memory system and improve its personality over time.
Technical data. Standard server logs, IP addresses, browser type, and analytics data collected via privacy-respecting tools.
How we use your information
- To operate and improve the Kinn.pet platform
- To generate and maintain your AI companion
- To send product updates and announcements (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- To respond to support requests
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your pet photos or companion interaction data for any purpose other than powering your companion.
Data storage and security
Data is stored on servers in the United States. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Pet photos submitted for Kinn Portrait are stored in isolated, access-controlled storage and are not accessible to other users or third parties.
Blockchain data
Kinn.pet uses the Base blockchain. Information written to the blockchain — including NFT ownership and transaction history — is public and permanent by nature. Do not submit information to the blockchain that you wish to keep private.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email we send. Deleting your account removes your profile data from our systems within 30 days, subject to legal retention requirements.
Children
Kinn.pet is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact [email protected] and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
